Students draw cards and write the equation using those numbers with the sum. If that equation is a doubles-plus-one or doubles-plus-two fact, they score a point. The first student to 5 points is the winner.

For each doubles flash card that a student draws, they will write either the related doubles-plus-one fact or the doubles-plus-two-fact on a white board along with the answer. They can also write the turnaround fact. This can be done individually or with a partner who then can check the work.
