This can be player with partners or a group up to 4.  Each student will get a hundreds chart.  Students take turns drawing a card and rolling a standard dice.  The standard dice tells how many ones or tens they will mark on their hundreds chart.  If they roll 4 tens, they can place a counter on any number with 4 tens.  If they roll 5 ones, they can place their counter on any number with 5 ones.  The first student to get four in a row, is the winner.

Comparing Teen Numbers

1.NBT.A.1, 1.NBT.B.2
Module 1  Lesson 7
Differentiation Activity

Students place the pile of numeral cards face down and have the Deca Cards out to use.  Each student draws a numeral card from the pile and makes that number with the Deca Cards.  Students compare Deca Cards to see who has the greatest number.  The student with the greatest number wins all the cards (Deca and Numeral Cards).  They then draw the next numeral and do the same.  The student with the most cards after the numerals are gone is the winner.  Students can play again with the lesser number keeping the cards.
