Students can play the game Total Ten using the Slate Cast feature in Stepping Stones or the printable game (resource below).

To Play:  Students either roll the die or draw a card.  They will place that many counters on their number track. When their turn comes around again, they will roll or draw and place that many more on their number track using a different color counter.  If their number exceeds their track, they lose that turn.  If they still don't make ten, they will go again and use a different color for the third roll.  If they make ten first, they are the winner.
