Differentiation Activity
Students can use the Extra Practice Sheet to practice their numbers. They can also practice in different materials such as clay, shaving cream, beads, pipe cleaners, etc.

Student take the numeral cards and line them up 1-9. All dot cards go into a pile. As the students draw a card, they place it under the correct numeral.

Clear the Path

A Game to Use All Year!
Students place their cubes on all the spaces on their side. As they roll the dice, the add the cubes together and remove the matching sum from their partner's side. If you remove all of your partner's cubes, you win!

Addition Addition! Subtraction Subtraction!
Game for after all addition strategies!Students take turns drawing cards and adding the numbers together. The must be able to explain which strategy they used:
- Count On
- Doubled, Doubles Add One/Two
- Make a Ten
The first to get three in a row is the winner!
Students can also play a similar game with subtraction!

Pringle Ringle - Three-Act Task

This was given over two days. Act 1 was a half an hour on day one. Acts 2 & 3 were a half hour on day two. I'm still working on how to fine tune the process!
